The Hovercraft Museum has substantial operating costs which it must meet every year to safeguard this truly unique and precious collection of Hovercraft - archives & other artefacts.

It is the only Museum of its kind in the world - yet we receive no official funding - and all of the trustees are unpaid volunteers. With spiralling rental costs - legal costs - Hovercraft restoration & maintenance - transportation - insurance etc... It is a tall order every year.
