Visits to view the Hovercraft Museum collection can be arranged by prior appointment. During your time with us you will be guided by one of our Museum Friends who will be happy to answer any of your questions.
Fees are as follows:
Saturdays 10am - 2pm & Wednesdays 10am - 4pm

Concessions (Disabled - Unemployed - Students - OAP's): £8.00

guarantee messages will be picked up the same day, so for a more prompt
response, please email us if possible.
As the tours are
conducted by one of our volunteers we request as much notice as possible
for visits - preferably a week or two in advance.
Please let us know what
date and time you would like to visit, along with details of how many
people will be in the group and how you intend to travel to the museum.

include any details about special requirements or disabilities. All
communication will be held in the strictest confidence.

If you are visiting by appointment - please use the map below which will direct you to the security gate on Chark Lane. Do not set your Sat Nav to our mail post code above as this will not bring you to the correct location. You can instead set your Sat Nav device to PO13 9JY which will direct you to Bayntum Drive which is off Chark Lane as detailed in the map below. Do not turn down Bayntum Drive - instead carry on toward the end of Chark Lane where you will find the security gate in front of you.
If you are attending a Hovershow or Open Day - you may gain access to the site from the main slipway gate off Marine Parade West as detailed in the following Map. Please note entry by car is not permissible here.
