James Bond Hovercraft as used in the film 'Die Another Day'. Retrofitted by Osprey Hovercraft from Bond Osprey 5 Hull to meet manufacturers criteria. Includes buoyancy - strengthening of hull - passenger seats - 4 stroke engine - navigational aids and long range fuel tank. It is the only Bond Osprey hull from the film insured and meeting manufacturers specification for rides. Three craft are kept at the Museum including two Osprey type craft and one Griffon modified M.O.D. craft - all of which were used in the opening sequence to the 2002 movie: 1. The original craft used with Pierces Bronson driving - original condition with 2 stroke stunt engine. 2. The original chase craft retrofitted by Osprey Hovercraft to manufactures spec to enable rides and displays with a 4 stroke engine. 3. The big chase craft in original film condition - originally a M.O.D. Shoeburyness military range Hovercraft.
